The Aquarian Personality
When you go to a party, look out for someone who is dressed rather unconventionally with an eccentric haircut or beard, with a slightly critical look on their face that seems to scan guests and who finally starts up an absolutely weird conversation with someone - And you can bet your bottom dollar that's your Aquarian. Aquarians stand out. They usually have fantastic ideas and are usually the trendsetters in their circle of friends. Aquarians are really sociable types. They don't sit on their own in front of the TV, but prefer instead to meet friends or colleagues with whom they love no more than to have an intellectual exchange. They are eccentric people who like to be different from the rest of the planet. They either have a strange hobby or a strange occupation. Normally they stand out from the masses in their unconventional outfits. All Aquarians simply love flouting popular conventions. Aquarius is the rebel among the star signs. You can't tell an Aquarian what to do or pin him down. He's an air sign with high-flying plans and concepts and an unconditional love of life that is reflected in his lifestyle. Normal flats and houses are definitely not suited to Aquarians. If an Aquarian can choose then he'll decide to live in something a lot more outlandish like an old mill or perhaps even renovate a factory. Creativity is something Aquarians definitely aren't short of.
Aquarius Man
Aquarius is the freak among the star signs. Progressive, creative and just slightly barking mad. Aquarians are ruled by the planet of Uranus, which stands for the sudden and unexpected. Under the influence of Uranus, the Aquarian man often appears aloof, cool and reserved. But actually he's ruled more by his head than his feelings. He likes to philosophise about the world and his wife and sometimes even comes up with completely new and individual thoughts regarding the meaning of life. He is also influenced by Uranus in his desire for all things new and innovative. He knows all the latest trends on the computer – or in Photoshop, but he's often lacking in the technical skills to use such applications. He's more your humanistic scientist. Occupations where he can use his communicative and human side are ideal, such as astrologer, social worker and development helper. Aquarians are far ahead of their time, always thinking in the future. And that's why they need a great deal of independence and freedom. If you offer an Aquarian a job with a lot of freedom and independence, he will be an enthusiastic, highly motivated employee. Of course, occupations that involve travelling are especially suited to an Aquarian, for example, pilot or field manager.
Aquarius Woman
Better eccentric than boringly normal and run-of-the-mill – that's the motto of the Aquarian woman. She loves the unexpected and she loves change. She's not worried about what others think about her.–She's way ahead of others. Her intellect is razor-sharp and her intuition, crystal-clear. The Aquarian woman often has fantastic ideas. But it's her intellectual flexibility that will make her go far. She usually strives for high positions, but not because she needs lots of money or wants to improve her image. No! It's because she wants freedom and requires an occupation where she feels appreciated and which allows for her intellectual growth. The Aquarian lady is unconventional and original. She doesn't need to be married to have a fulfilling relationship. On the contrary, she longs for a relationship that promises freedom and adventure instead of narrow-mindedness and the necessity of sticking to conventions. She does everything out-of-the-box. Some may think she's as mad as a hatter, but those who know her better will have discovered her genius within and those who fall in love with her and who let her be as free as she wants, will have a loyal, honest, yet exciting and unconventional partner for life.
Aquarius Child
The Aquarian child is like a little twister, always rushing around and he's definitely one for surprises. He's always got a new idea, to the annoyance of his parents. But parents shouldn't feel provoked by their little Aquarian whirlwind; he just wants to be able to live out his dreams and his creative streak. At a young age he'll want to go off and explore the world. And for this he'll need a certain amount of freedom. If parents try to prevent him from embarking on his little adventures or even to stop him from exploring, they'll find they've got a mini terrorist at home. You have to demonstrate some skill if you want to direct him in a certain direction. Make sure he comes into contact with children of the same age, because friends are very important to him. And without even realising it, he'll learn how to hold back a little, too.
Aquarius as Employer/Employee
The Aquarius is an extremely unconventional boss. Actually he's more like a friend, who happens to pay your salary. He's not interested in conventional working methods. His company should be progressive and creative. And he is actually able to realise the most original ideas and create a working atmosphere with a true inventive spirit. The Aquarian is a generous boss, who enjoys inviting his team out for meals and then discussing the significance of the latest corporate developments or inviting them out for a weekend of sailing where new ideas are developed. Whatever the Aquarian thinks up, it's bound to be perfect due to the shared creative thought process.
